A: It's DC's only Cherry Blossom wine, beer & music festival, kicking off the Spring outdoor festival season with the very best craft beers and wine from around the world!
We have more than 65 of the very best craft beers available to you for unlimited tasting in one amazing day! Plus we'll have 25+ wines (including lots of Rosé & sparkling varietals!) and 10+ ciders--and you get to try them all! Plus, you’ll enjoy delicious food available for purchase from DC’s best food trucks, arts, games, and more!
Q: What beers are being served? Can I try them all?
A: Yes, give it your best shot! We'll have more than 65 beer options available for you to try -- tons of local and regional choices, plus the best beers from across the country!

Q: What about wine? Cider? Gluten-free options?
A: We've got you covered! We'll have about 25 amazing wine options, and 10 different delicious naturally gluten-free ciders on tap, plus at least one gluten free beer option from Lakefront Brewing.
Q: What comes with a VIP ticket?
A: Visit our VIP page for the skinny on our premium ticket option with additional features! You may want to treat yo-self, because it's sort of worth it!
Q: Is there a map of all the beers and the venue?
Q: What food trucks will be there?
A: Hungry? We have DC’s best food trucks to pair with your beer & wine! Choose from DC Taco, CapMac, DC Slices, Capital Chicken & Waffles, and Akila Caribbean Jerk Cuisine
Q: Will the NCAA Final Four game be on?
A: Yes, we’ll have the Auburn v. Virginia Final Four semifinal game (tip time: 6:00 p.m.) on the big screen at the Bullpen during the 2nd session!
Q: How do I transfer my registration to someone else or to a different session?
A: Use these instructions from Eventbrite to easily transfer your ticket to a new name. You can also transfer sessions using their system (change in price may be applicable). Also -- you can just send someone your ticket directly via email if you can no longer go -- all they need is the barcode!
Q: Is the event rain or shine?
A: YES -- we'll see you rain or shine at Capital BrewFest!
Q: Can I bring in food? Water?
A: Outside food is OK. Water, in unopened bottles only, are OK--no other outside beverages are allowed.
Q: Can I bring a bag? Is there a bag/coat check?
A: There is no bag or coat check available on site. Small (think like a normal purse) bags or smaller are OK. No large bags like backpacks/luggage/duffel bags are allowed. Purses will be inspected on entry by security staff, so please have them out and open.
Q: Do you have to be 21? What about my tiny baby?
A: Yes, all attendees must be 21 years or older--absolutely no exceptions (even babies, sorry!). Please bring your ID to be checked at the entrance.
Q: What if I don't drink?
A: There will be plenty of water and soft drinks available for purchase, but there are no separate tickets available for non drinkers -- all entry tickets are the same.
Q: What about gluten free options?
A: We have 10 ciders that are naturally gluten free, in addition to Lakefront Brewing’s New Grist Gluten Free Beer, plus two italian hard soda selections — tons of choices!
Q: What's the best way to get to the event?
A: Short answer: take Metro or rideshare! Our venue at the Fairgrounds is directly across from the Half Street exit of the Navy Yard green line Metro. There is lots of parking in the area for free, but driving is dumb if you're having lots of beer--please don't drink and drive.
Q: Can I get a refund?
A: Refunds were available until March 29th, but now all sales are final! You can transfer your registration to someone else easily using our Eventbrite online ticketing system.
Q: Can I bring a dog? Cat? Lemming? Mongoose?
A: No, sorry, no furry friends of any sort allowed, except for certified (and marked) service animals.
