A: Yes, give it your best shot! We'll have more than 50 beer options available for you to try -- tons of local and regional choices, plus the best beers from across the country!

A: We've got you covered! We'll have about 25 amazing wine options, and 6-8 different delicious naturally gluten-free ciders on tap, plus at least one gluten free beer option.
Q: What comes with a VIP ticket?
A:Visit our VIP page for the skinny on our premium ticket option with additional features! You may want to treat yo-self, because it's sort of worth it!
Q: Is there a map of all the beers and the venue?
A: The final beer list and map will be available about 3 days prior to the festival as we lock down the final layout and choices!
Q: What bands are playing?
A: Our lineup will be announced about three weeks prior to the festival.
Q: What food trucks will be there?
A: Hungry? Choose from a selection of 4-5 food trucks -- exact trucks are TBD.
Q: How do I transfer my registration to someone else or to a different session?
A: Use these instructions from Eventbrite to easily transfer your ticket to a new name. You can also transfer sessions using their system (change in price may be applicable). Also -- you can just send someone your ticket directly via email if you can no longer go -- all they need is the barcode!
Q: Is the event rain or shine?
A: YES -- we'll see you rain or shine at Capital BrewFest!
Q: Can I bring in food? Water?
A: Outside food is OK. Water, in unopened bottles only, are OK--no other outside beverages are allowed.
Q: Can I bring a bag? Is there a bag/coat check?
A: There is no bag or coat check available on site. Small (think like a normal purse) bags or smaller are OK. No large bags like backpacks/luggage/duffel bags are allowed. Purses will be inspected on entry by security staff, so please have them out and open.
Q: Do you have to be 21?
A: Yes, all attendees must be 21 years or older--absolutely no exceptions (even babies, sorry!). Please bring your ID to be checked at the entrance.
Q: What if I don't drink?
A: There will be plenty of water and soft drinks available for purchase, but there are no separate tickets available for non drinkers -- all entry tickets are the same.
Q: What's the best way to get to the event?
A: Short answer: take Metro or rideshare! Our venue at the Fairgrounds is directly across from the Half Street exit of the Navy Yard green line Metro. There is lots of parking in the area for free, but driving is dumb if you're having lots of beer--please don't drink and drive.
Q: Can I get a refund?
A: Refunds are available until September 5th, but then after that, all sales are final! Request a refund using Eventbrite and we'll process ALL of the refunds on September 5th. You can transfer your registration to someone else easily using our Eventbrite online ticketing system.
Q: Can I bring a dog? Cat? Lemming? Mongoose?
A: No, sorry, no furry friends of any sort allowed, except for certified (and marked) service animals.
